As the head of International TV at International Art Machine, Karishma lives between London, L.A, Mumbai and Turkey to make IAM truly a global hub for content creation. 

 

Karishma graduated from Macquarie University with a Media and Communications degree majoring in Film Production and spent her final year on a film scholarship in New York.

 

With a career spanning over 20 years and across several countries and genres of Entertainment, Karishma Naina Sharma has worked on over 60 productions in her hometown of Sydney with the likes of George Lucas and Oscar winning director, Errol Morris.

 

Before too long, destiny and a Bollywood movie called "Heyy Babyy" soon came to town only to uproot her to the very nucleus of the Indian film industry. Thus, began her foray into the Indian market space and all realms of entertainment.

 

Within India, Karishma worked as the Head of Development and Creative Vice President for one of India’s biggest film studios, “Balaji Motion Pictures”. Here she developed and produced over 20 feature films under Ekta Kapoor, working to develop projects with A list directors such as Abhishek Chaubey, Anurag Singh, Amit Sharma, Vikram Aditya Motwane, Imtiaz Ali, Remo Dsouza, Mohit Suri, Bhushan Patel, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ram Gopal Verma, Sujoy Gosh, Akshat Verma, Abhinay Deo to name just a few.

 

In addition to being a film executive, Karishma has helmed many tv shows as a Television anchor and She has also managed the International work for India’s biggest music artists Vishal and Shekhar, signing them to Universal music, U.K. 

 

With the advent of the global pandemic, Karishma took this time to further fortify her International presence and relocated to Turkey in her continued passion to melt borders and use her extensive network to bring cultures, stories, talent and ideas together in the world of entertainment.
